Based on the Suzuka Lap time, don’t think that’s happening.Gonna have to zonk Honda for the never-ending persistent camo wrap. Maybe downgrade to a half-zonk, if they up the power considerably. 350+ hp would be nice for the final FWD gas engine CTR, to go out with a memorable bang.
Yep. The grille looks MASSIVEReally loved the up close look at the car and the details not seen in pictures alone
To be fair, they haven’t been selling it like a reveal. They even made sure to keep calling it a prototype, for the longest time. Can’t really blame Honda, if people post pictures of camo test vehicles track testing… if that’s the case, the GR Corolla was being teased back in 2018-2019…and that car still doesn’t come out til this fall. The worlds most dragged out reveal.
I liked seeing the vented hood up close. And that is a great design feature from Honda with a few benefits such as heat reduction, and reduced front end lift without sacrificing drag. I had a J's Racing hood on my S2000 with a similar design and it made a huge difference.Really loved the up close look at the car and the details not seen in pictures alone
Very likely that the OE size will be a 9.5 which provides room for lower offsets or even a 10" all around, only time will tell. We saw the video too. We already have many sizes in preparation for the new 11th Gen Civic Type R, including but not limited to 9.5", 10", 10.5", and even 11" bolt-on setups so we are all very eager to get our hands on the car here at the shop. Should be interesting!I have a question regarding these tire sizes/fitment that hopefully someone more knowledgeable on offset/track width than me can answer. (@System Motorsports)
The photos show that the car sits on 265/30/19 size tires. Knowing that 265mm translates roughly to 10.4", I couldn't help but notice that there seems to be ample room/clearance left on the table with these front and rear fenders.

Does anyone find it possible that perhaps the car may be able to run 10" and wider wheel setups off of these preliminary glimpses? Or is it just a matter of differing offsets that will relegate it to the 9.5" width that many have found success with?
You have my (and I'm certain many others) full support! Would 350 even be usable? Id be ecstatic with 315-320 and more usable torque curve.Gonna have to zonk Honda for the never-ending persistent camo wrap. They could limit the power in the first 2 gears and unleash all 350+ horses in the higher gears where traction is less of an issue. Though realistically, I don't see more than 320-330 in the new model, if that.Would 350 even be usable? Id be ecstatic with 315-320 and more usable torque curve.
