Call me a weirdo, but I love the stock metal shifter. I like the way looks and feels in my hand. As far as the temperature issue it just doesn't bother me and really doesn't take that long to stabilize once you get rolling down the road.

I drove a car with the red leather shifter in it and loved it. I do like the feel of the stock shifter, but I gotta say, the leather one is probably what I'll end up going with.

Same! I tried the leather knob that was included in my deal one time and decided it wasn't for me...
