Remote Start

I have a 2022 Civic Touring. I thought when you did a remote start the heated seats were supposed to come on as part of the warm up. Mine do not. Is something wrong with my remote start or am I wrong about this. I thought it said this was the case in the manual.

I don't think the seats are apart of the remote start when activated.

On our 2023 CRV the seats and the heated steering wheel will come on when remote starting but I think the outside temperature needs to be below a certain point - the seat and wheel obviously did not come on in the summer. I don't know what that temperature threshold is.

Thanks for your reply. As you can see from this screen shot of my manual, the seats are supposed to come on (unless I’m missing something). It snowed last night and the temperature this morning was 29 degrees Fahrenheit. The remote start did NOT activate the seat heaters. I’ve only had this car for about 2 months but I seem to remember the seats going on when I tried the remote start, although I could be wrong. Just want to get a definitive answer while it is still under warranty so I can harass the local dealer to fix it.
