Production Progressing Well. Lower elbow to front pipe flange and to transition cone to Gesi cat. Nothing but smooth transitions.

Thanks! Took about a year and six different designs to get here but I’m really happy with this version.


One thing I specifically wanted was to use GESI’s matching transition cones with the GESI catalyst. They’re designed to provide a more controlled transition into and out of the catalyst body rather than having an abrupt change in diameter like most downpipes out there which is why I believe this downpipe will flow a lot better than most. GESI specifically highlights its transition cone design as part of how its high flow converters manage exhaust flow and catalyst efficiency.


I jokingly called it a bit of a “Venturi effect,” but technically it’s more about smooth area transitions, reduced flow separation turbulence and keeping the exhaust path as clean as possible through the cat rather than creating a true Venturi.

A lot of thought went into the small details on this one.

How are you gonna do QC on the downpipes? Will you be handing checking them, or do you just plan to rely on the manufacturer that's making them?

He has specific instructions what to check for me, I trust his work took me a year to find a solid welder and then when I am packaging them I will hand check them. You guys need to understand I am not corporate company like PRL/COBB etc with millions of $ LOL I gotta do everything old school which should bring back the quality aspect to parts. No chance of a disgruntled employee checking it last out the door haha I will be picky cause my eyes are on them before shipment.

Unlike most downpipes out there im doing a 1 year on the welds and 2 years on the Cat warrenty.
