x2 looking good and I'm not a fan of wraps typically.

Wrap looks great! You're going to have the forged wheels and the MITA wheels- for track?
Thanks!
I still don't know what tires I want to put on the MITA FKS wheels.
Anyone here want to help me decide?
I'm open to suggestions.

Just so everyone knows, the MITA FKS wheel I ordered is 18x9.0 inch, ET+45.
I'll likely want to wrap the wheel in a nice, chonky, protective layer, like a 275/40ZR18 , for peace of mind... and because I like chonk.

Time to coin a new term...

I now declare the 18x9 inch, ET+45 wheel for the FL5 as:

"Touring Spec". 😉

Update.
June 26, 2025.

Well, I 've been in Dallas almost a week now on vacation at an old friend's house. Just now siting down to update the thread.

Last week while the car was getting wrapped and tires were getting mounted, I got one other custom item done as well. The wheel and tire guy runs a powder coat station as part of the wheel repair business.

So one of the techs at the Platinum Auto Films suggested I get my spoiler brackets ("wing stands") powder coated something lighter than black in order to look good with gray and silver wheels. What a cool idea!
So I went for it.

The old powder coat has to be stripped off of the aluminum in order to have a clean surface for a new coat.

Here are the spoiler stands about 75% stripped, prior to getting powder coated.

Almost down to the bare aluminum.

And...

The final product.

A gray metallic powder coat with an additional clear powder coat to complete the look.

Next to a Forged Type R wheel.

My grays and silvers don't all have to match. I'm more of a gray scale type of person. In other words, my grays are on the spectrum.

Yeah, man. Thanks.
I've never seen a powder coating process before. I didn't get to watch the whole time, but I got to see the "during" and "after" results.
Gotta say, I am beyond impressed with what powder coating can do.

love it.

Nooice!

Yeah, the Metro Restyling Dark Yellow headlight tint is pretty thicc and stiff. Marco the installer had a tough time getting it to curve and stay put.

I hope you show your before, during, and after photos on your thread!
Also, feel free to chuck a few photos this way if you like.
......buddy knocked out my yellow tint and some other items today. @U_grafx

Monday, June 30, 2025. Evening.

So...
Wasn't gonna do this tonight, but @NeRO_CTR over here showing me up, so...

I was in Dallas at a friend's house for about a week and a half on vacation. Got busy and too lazy to keep up with posting in my thread in the meantime.

While NeRO was joining Club Yellow Lens, I was driving home from Dallas to San Antonio.
Welcome to the Club, NeRO!

Not a fun drive. Always at least 5 hours, easily 5 and a half to 6 if you make a couple stops along the way.
Also, there's this place that's always in the way, called "Austin". 😬
Just joking, Austin. The rest of Texas loves you, too.
No, really, we do. 🤠
