I’m so unhappy to post this as I’ve loved my CTR for such a short time but I’m having to say goodbye. My CTR was stolen around 2 months ago, having being fitted with cameras and a tracker as well as stealth PPF and a new Milltek exhaust. I also had an air intake ready for fitting. BUT following the destruction of the interior, looking for a tracker, it has been written off. EIGHTEEN THOUSAND POUNDS to reinstate the interior.

Look after your baby because it’s not simple or cheap to fix.

I love this community, and I will miss it more than any other I’ve joined. Perhaps the new owner of this Category N will join and enjoy your friendly and helpful community.

Wow. Firstly, I am so sorry for your loss. Having a car stolen makes you feel really violated. Secondly, I am shocked that the insurance company would write off a car for an estimate less than half of the car's value. Is there a way for you to buy it back from the insurance company and use the write off check to fix it? I know you can in the US.

I know it’s hard, so definitely up to you to share. My 2000 Si was stolen many, many years ago and my heart hurts ‘til this day thinking about it.

Dude, that massively sucks. I wouldn't know what to do if my car was stolen. People who steal cars are a different breed, it's not even petty theft where it costs a few 100s, it's literally years worth of savings and hard work they're taking. I hope you recover from this, take care man. Maybe you'll be in another Honda soon?
