Damn. I’m just about to touch up the stone chips in my front bumper and fender.

Dr Colorchip worked really well for me on my old car. I had a front bumper freckled with chips and I just went over the whole thing with Dr Colorchip and it looked basically 95% of the way there. There are some tricks and stuff to applying it that I had to find out on my own, but it's pretty damn good. Make sure the temp is above 60F or else that sealact stuff is basically useless.

Nice. That’s the same kit I’ve ordered. Looks like it does a good job. It’s about 8 individual stone chips. Most of which are on the bumper so show black and are highly noticeable. If I can get it to 95% of what it once was I’ll be happy. I console myself with the fact that race cars with race damage always look cool to me.

I am interested in seeing Before / During / After photos if anyone here has done that, or is willing to do that.
I'd like to see if maybe several people all agree on what is the most durable, long lasting protection for the car.
My particular interest for my car is all of the lower black trim that surrounds the whole car. I will be getting my car PPF color wrapped at Platinum Auto Films San Antonio. However, the shop owner Marco advised me against wrapping the lower trim, due to all of the sharp bends and corners on many of the surfaces. He says that the PPF or wrap will not stick for an extended time, and will begin to come loose within a matter of months.
Therefore, the shop will only be wrapping the painted surfaces ABOVE all of the lower trim.

All of this long winded explanation to say that I'm considering PlastiDip or HyperDip for all of the lower trim.

Does anyone here have experience with this? I am definitely going to experiment on my bicycle and probably my Wrangler. The great thing about this stuff is that it is rubber paint, so if you don't like it, or once you are tired of it, you can peel it off and go back to the original surface. I don't remember exactly, but I think Fonzie over at the DipYourCar YouTube channel says that it will last about 3 years or so before needing replacement.
