A Pre-Event Tech Inspection is required for all participants to be done and our form filled out within 30 days of the start of the event. The tech form can be downloaded/printed HERE. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions. A valid 2025 Tech sticker (NASA, SCCA, WRL, etc) can be used as a substitute to the pre-tech form. The tech form must be completed by a shop or technician that IS NOT the driver.

whats up with this?
This is kinda annoying. I know PCA makes people do this but most clubs just let the driver do their own tech. This is not a huge deal if you live somewhere with ok shops which is not my case lol
@PointByPatrol any shop or individual can sign-off? I might just get a friend to do this. This is rather stupid.

I'm sure it's just an insurance check box to reduce liability coverage.

I can't offer any advice here other than what TSCC has stated on their form. That would be some extremely hot water.

I don't think anyone here is saying they're deviating from the instructions on the form 👍 I'm going to have mine done and the steering thing at the same time 👍

Not what I'm saying at all. We need to release liability from TSCC. I wish my shop was on the way for you guys because my techs would be more than willing to inspect the car. Either way, it never hurts to have someone else check the vehicle. We assume our cars are fine, but what if something wasn't, and someone could save you a ton of trouble?

Purple group for @BigBird and @TW00Si are in purple I believe. I am indeed in the instructor group, but TSCC allows instructors to run in any group they want.
Yep Purple. I was approved for Advance, but you had said purple was a better situation, and it'll be my first day back, so might as well take it easy and no pressure

is this a dealer tech?

I need to find someone I trust to work on stuff I don't want to work on. Like I mentioned before no way I would take the car to the local dealer for anything like this. I took my wheel to get a tire replaced and they managed to damage it and repair it a few times and still not great. Asked to bleed my breaks with SRF cuz i was too busy to do it and they would not do it because they don't want to be responsible lol.

I can imagine showing up with that check list for the track day lol, that would probably blow their mind. My first time out on track many years ago I did go to the dealer to sign one of these, BMW dealer and they had no issues with it, they also did a bunch of stuff on the car that was track oriented and no issues what so ever.

Pointby is not wrong that is good to get the car checked, I don't think its a bad idea at all, I have had stuff fly of cars and almost hit me on track. Oh I have a video of it here

That woulda made a nice dent/scratch on my non ppf on that car body lol.

I have to take the car to a shop to do an aligment after installing the ball joints so maybe I have em sign this paper, this actually makes me get my ass in gear to install the ball joints which I feel I will keep wanting to procastinate.

Grrrrr. I have a family wedding that weekend on my wife’s side. Still on the fence if we’re going but I’m pretty bummed I’ll likely have to miss this. Best case, I might be able to come for one day.

Yep, Tim is a dealer tech. He is the one that helped me with my engine swap! Couldn't have been done so quickly without him!

How many do we have confirmed now? 5? I feel like we need all the colors at least lol so LE would be great, the rarest of all. Did anyone post on the fk8 forum too?
