I look at the car only costing the difference between what I paid for it and what it eventually sells for when I'm done with it... so if there are limited numbers of the car and the price on the second hand market stays high as a result, I'm fine with that.

Exactly. Still, the market on the CTR was crazy (In America) even in 2018-2019. I saw cars with 20k on them for 36k at the time.

A little wet sanding will take the gloss right off them. They could be permanently matte in about 5-10 mins if that's what you prefer.

It's a 4 seater on purpose. A 5 seater would need to be able to handle the weight of a 5th passenger, meaning there'd be a larger gap between curb and gross weights. That would compromise handling, as they'd need to optimize for a larger weight range.

I am first on the list of my local dealership and put $30K non-refundable deposit down, but if this is true they can keep it. YUCK!

This thread should just be deleted. They never featured glossy back seats - it was a single prototype that did.
