Wastegate Rattle - Lube/Grease?

I know the key jingling sound is normal for the wastegate actuator. I've heard some people got rid of the jingling noise by lubing it. Any recommendations?

It's a common noise on the latest electronic wastegates.

Unfortunately, that's just "typical" of them. It is present with the 10th gens, and present with the 11th gens. Our go-to advice is to turn the volume on your radio up.

If you feel that it's more than the usual rattle, you can of course take it to your local Honda dealer.

yea, i know it's normal. was just trying to see if anyone tried grease to quiet it down and if they ran into any issues.

Yes, I have. But due to the heat, the grease wears out quickly and the noise will come back.

what type of grease did you use? did you use a high temp grease?
