What did you do to your FL5 today?

Been running the Blitz CF front lip on my car since May this year. And today decided to install the rest of the Blitz front bumper parts. I must say like OP stated should’ve done it sooner. Changes the looks greatly. CF front lip, CF side arches, and piano black front duct line.

Looks mean! Where'd you source the Blitz parts at and how long was shipping?

I recently realized I can do something fun. Without needing to spend $400-1000 on some racebox or vbox, I can just measure my 0-60 on my phone using any number of apps. This particular one is called "Car Timer". Not sure about the accuracy vs a dedicated performance measuring box, but good enough for a goon like me.

Today I found myself at a stoplight with some open road in front so I started up the app. I would say I gave it an 75% effort. I was kind to the car mechanically (didnt dump the clutch, shifted normally, shifted before fuel cutoff). Also it was a public road with other cars, so I kept it civil. There was a little bit of wheel hop and then I was off. I got a 5.9s, better than I was expecting as I wasn't going all out.

It's interesting too that a true 6sec 0-60 is actually quite fast. In normal everyday driving we're probably doing more like 8-10sec on average.

That’s dope dude. A few of the mags have hit like 5 or 5.2 0-60. Which is impressive for fwd

I had the PWR Intercooler and COBB Tuning Redline Carbon Fiber Intake installed earlier in the week. Overall, high quality parts with excellent fitment and straightforward installation. I can confirm there was no cutting, modifying, trimming, relocating or whatever verb these manufacturers are using these days to characterize 'OEM' or 'plug-and-play' fitment or installation. If you're on the fence, purchase with confidence.

Before and after intercooler photos. The PWR logo was removed from the core post purchase. Unfortunately, the logo was the subject of much back and forth with PWR pre- and post- purchase. FYI - They charge $100 for a no logo option. Once the car is buttoned up and the intercooler is behind the grill, the intercooler looks no different than the stocker.

The intake box is version 2.0. Well constructed part, that looks good, with excellent fitment. Not the best carbon fiber I've seen, which is fine, but it's very good. A nit is that the hose clamps are good, but could be of higher quality. They work and there are no issues with them, but I like the OEM clamps better. Not sure who makes amazing aftermarket hose clamps. Again, a nit, and perhaps something most may not notice or agree with. With a new calibration loaded to the ECU, no weird idle issues. The car idles exactly like stock.

Next up is getting the car tuned. I started that process this week and will provide additional insight once complete.

I had to wait about 7-8 weeks I think.

Looks great! I cannot even fathom the thought of having to pay an extra ($100 ) in order to have a company NOT take the extra step of adding their graffiti to a part they want ME to purchase!!

its more like they should knock $100 off the price in order for me to advertise for THEM.

When pwr told me it was 100 to not spray the logo. I was literally stuck on stupid for like 10 seconds. Like I couldn’t process what the mf just told me over the phone.

outstanding intercooler and I’ll never say otherwise. They make great stuff. But I for one will never buy from them ever again

I waited 28 days from order to delivery. They quoted 4-6 weeks so, it came a little early.

Klean Strip spray on safe for aluminum. Agitate/scrape with a plastic razor on the flat surfaces and let the spray soak on the fins and rinse away with water. Rinse and repeat three times. Rinse really well and let it dry out for multiple days before respraying it.

See above. Zero chance I was paying those bozos $100 to remove the logo. Fantastic product from the craftsmanship to the fitment to performance, but their customer service is cheeks.
