What did you do to your FL5 today?

Love my 25 CW to I’m really liking the color everything seems to pop more like the black accents , red interior and calipers. My neighbor came by today said it looks like a different car/Model and really liked the Cw on it .I enjoy wrenching easy mods or maintenance but not detailing/waxing anymore I use to love it but I’m feeling it now for 4 or 5 days after lol. Sucks because I miss waxing my cars all the time and detailing them with no physical consequences. When I was younger I’d spend hours in the garage waxing my cars to perfection and I remember my dad coming into the garage telling me I’m going to wax the paint off as he smiles lol. Washing isn’t to bad and still enjoy it but yeah I’m like you I don’t like anyone touching my car no doubt.
Quick detail spray ceramic refresher and a like are my friends now.
I’m thinking about getting one of those roller seats when doing the sides of the car and wheels should make it much more enjoyable.

A few weeks ago but I got all the mods off my SGP since I kept all the stock parts. The dealer wanted it back to stock so it could be certified. Worked out great for me although might just keep the PRL CF steering wheel and OEM+ CF wing and sell the rest. Thinking about keeping this one stock

I was thinking about this. Would be cool to buy the refreshed FL5 and have them swap the parts…lol.

I’m a retired truck driver 63 but I was LTL “local deliveries” So instead of just bumping docks dropping trailers I made local deliveries so I wasn’t on the road for weeks so I could come home every night. You worked harder but it was worth it and I’m actually in good shape not your typical truck driver you’d think of but my back has seen better days for sure .
When I was your age detailing and waxing my cars definitely wasn’t an issue.
I think I’ve delivered way to many spas, refrigerators, home safes and car motors just to mention a few lol.

Depending on the refresh you might have to refresh your parts first
I’m very happy with my New old school Type R
I sure hope in 2027 they don’t go hybrid and also loose the 6spd but then again it’ll be nice having the last of mohicans lol.

Hybrid Racing Titanium Maxim Performance Shift Knob and Boot Collar paired with an Overland Designs Shift Boot. Seems to be a bit of rattling when shifting now that I have to diagnose, but I believe it is coming from the boot collar, as it only rattles when the boot collar is locked into place. Hybrid Racing sent me another to try, but I haven't gotten around to swapping it yet. Weight (265g / .58lb) on the knob itself is great and seems to make shifting a bit better compared to OEM knob.
