The cheap, stock, boot is a real head scratcher to me, it's so terrible looking!
And selected specifically for USDM models... as if it wouldn't have been cheaper and easier to just use the same boot for all markets.

I did the MRT small resonator delete today. Gives more low end/RPM noise, a little hint of rowdiness. Nothing crazy. For $200 it’s a nice improvement and will keep me from thinking about catbacks.

Also did a few things to my 86, which has been stored. First time really driving the two back to back. Aaaaauuugghhhhh can’t wait til spring. To unleash that beast and also get the PS4S’s on the civic and see what it can really do.

Wow nice! Both cars in my choice of color. I only have the right one now...left one is gone...but will rebuy if they ever fix the oil starvation issue (I waved the white flag after the 2nd engine when boo boo).

They seriously cheaper out on USDM... mirrors, parking sensors, back seats, shift boot, etc.

The car is also cheaper to buy in the US than in most other markets...

Honda picked a feature set that they think makes for the US market. Both in terms of expected use and competitive landscape (e.g., there's an ITS to make room for in North America but not in other regions). No parking sensors because US parking spots are large, cloth back seats and leather wheel to make it easier to keep clean as a daily driver, etc...

Honestly, knowing both the US and the EU markets, I think overall they chose quite well. I'd like tinted windows on the US car (I believe they're absent for legal reasons), and the Bose sound system on the EU car, but that's pretty much it.

The only other option I feel like the US cars should've gotten was the power-folding mirrors, apart from that it's pretty much perfectly equipped for its use case.

Lowered the car this morning with a full trunk. Heading up to Watkins Glen for track days.

11th Gen Honda Civic What did you do to your FL5 today? IMG_1968

Goes to show, I can’t really lower the car. Once I get 2 adult passengers in, I’m gonna be a low rider.

Wow man, sucks to hear. You
Must not have discussed it on the forums because I’d probably have remembered the massive victim blame circlejerk.. “bet you didn’t check your oil!”

This one came with a brand new fuel line which is massive. This will give a lot more headroom than the XDI and Hondata. Waiting to test it to post up the data.
Will the LPFP output enough?

We are about to find out 🤣. Apparently the full race pump can move to about 275lph. So I am a bit skeptical of it holding on unless I don’t really push it hard.
