For me it was easier than the intake box install. I've removed the manifold before, so already knew what to expect and the potential gotchas. So it took me less than 2 hours from start to finish.

That being said, if you are removing the manifold to install injectors, it's probably better to do both at the same time versus 2 separate instances.

2nd oil change and swap to Motul 600 brake fluid in prep for a track day at Homestead Jan 25th.

They have a CVCC in the showroom, original Monroney too - bad boy was $1,600 new :)

Always felt the FL5 steering wheel was too slippery and lacked aesthetics, so I installed this Revesol CF steering wheel. Install was quick and easy. Fitment was perfect as well. I saw many other CF steering wheels have the larger ergonomic grooves and felt its a little too aggressive looking. This one looks great, feels great, and has great grip. My wife asked me why am I changing it. My response was "because race car." :drive:😁

Had a decent December. Got QuickJacks on a Black Friday deal, got a great deal on a set of winter wheels including tires and installed them, installed PRL HVI, and finally decided to install the Eibach Pro Kit springs this weekend

Was unsure the 255/40/18 tires that were on the Enkei's would fit without rubbing but luckily they do no problem. Pro kit definitely isn't slammed, but low, aggressive and no wheel gap so I'm happy with it. It also rides very nice, less bouncy, little stiffer on the high speed bumps, but so planted. can't wait to get summer wheels and tires on there.

Crappy garage pics since the weather has been terrible

Like four hours lol. A lot of tight spaces to get into, and that made it harder than they make it sound like.
4 hours?! Ohhhh lordddd!

how long does it take to take off the bumper?

Did you use a lift or jackstands?

a 3M tape lip is looking pretty good right about now 🫠

I used race ramps. Nah it’s worth the hassle tbh. And yes I’d recommend removing the bumper to make things easier but you’ve gotta be really patient so you don’t break clips.

I installed these yesterday from Zl1

These were reasonably priced and easy to install.

Installed a 27won coolant expansion tank. Not happy with the fitment, the bottom pipe is angled downward and rubs against the inside of the wheel well liner. The tank is also angled such that I can’t get the third bolt installed, but it seems pretty sturdily installed regardless. I’ll probably switch to another brand. I might have been shipped an FK8 unit, but whatever.

Had a fun few days of consecutive Type R fun. Got around to installing a PRL intercooler, TSP downpipe, and Phaerable Stage 2 tune. Fun.
How big of a power difference? How does the tsp downpipe sound

I don’t have specific dyno numbers, but this modification has made the most noticeable difference in power compared to all the other bolt-ons I’ve added to the car. These include the PRL HVI, PRL titanium intake, PRL intercooler, PRL front pipe, and APEXi exhaust.

oh, and the TSP downpipe sounds great. I would say it has increased the depth and volume of the sound.
