What did you do to your FL5 today?

This was technically last weekend... I hit up the Hondata Jailbreak Event in San Antonio, which just happened to be on my birthday. Car is still stock, so I loaded the 93 octane tune and stage 1 pops/burbles and hit some of the curvy Texas Hill Country roads west of San Antonio. Definitely makes a difference and even my wife likes the pops.

It’s funny. We test drove a Type-S before we bought the FL5 (seats were the big no-go for us), and the first time it popped she lost her mind. “What was that! That was intentional! Well I DON’T like that at all. Does it do it all the time?!.” Hehe

Changed the coolant reservoir today, surprisingly easy install with just a tiny bit of lost coolant. Didn’t have to remove any brackets and all the hoses broke their seal and twisted off easily.

That is my favorite OEM looking reservoir. It's what Honda should of made and used.

PRL Rear Motor Mount. Install would have been way easier if I didn't have my jack stands on their lowest level lol

For those that installed the RMM yourself, how were you able to get the horizontal bolt off the OEM one? I tried doing the install yesterday. The bolt was loosen but I didn’t have enough space to pull it out, so couldnt finish the install.

If you have an aftermarket front pipe you'll need to remove it. If you still have the OEM front pipe and its not hot, you can just push up on it a bit and you'll be able to remove the bolt.

I had to pry a little either direction to get mine out too. Took a little force but it got done.

I was able to wiggle the RMM out after removing the vertical bolt and loosening the horizontal bolt (if I recall correctly, I did not remove the horizontal bolt completely out, or wiggled a bit, then took it out? I vaguely recall having to push on the pipe)

btw, to tighten the bolt back to specs, I had to get a "crowfoot" adapter to get my torque wrench in there

I feel naked without my Paramilitary 2. I can’t stand having to waste time crossing the shop for a knife just to open a box or something. Really good knives for the price.

Agreed and love my Spydercos ! Best slicers and so thin behind the edge . The Para 2 is actually my favorite spyderco the Military 2 in the picture is a little bigger then I like but bought it just to add to my collection since it’s a Sprint run and in 15v blade steel.

Finally got the full adro kit installed. Side skirts are a pain to remove but the rest wasn't too bad.

Man, Post more pics! Not a lot with the full kit out there. Looks great. How was the wing installation?

just added the Mugen door protectors which is a must have imo as i kick the hell out of the door EVERYTIME i get out ??

Installed the FK8 spare tire kit in the FL5.
Pretty easy, actually.
I did trim a small piece off the new floor in the left rear corner. The FK8 has a cubby back there for the jack. The FL5 doesn't, so the contour is slightly different.
One of the bargains in Honda-land. I paid $159 for the kit and $120 for the tire. The dealer mounted the tire for free.
