Man those wheels look great! How much did the powder coating cost, if you don't mind my asking?
ah yeah no worries. I actually paid $500 total for all 4 wheels.

@crewlifepowdercoating he’s Atlanta based. Highly recommend. You will need to have the wheels dismounted from the tires since he does not have the machine for it.

170mm shift rod on the hybrid racing shifter. Feels great, looks a little goofy though. I also bought the 140mm rod. I have always preferred a very tall shifter.

I love the looks of the HR shifter, and kept it open for a while, but was concerned about dropping stuff into the center console. so I put the boot back on.

I use the standard rod that came with it, and topped it with Mishimoto round walnut knob

I tried (thanks to Amazon free returns) several non-metallic knobs since I rather not scorch my hands on hot summer days, the Mishimoto felt a bit large the first two days, but feels perfect now.

I like that it is more of a teardrop shape and not plain round, as I sometime let my fingers drop.

I have the shift rod adjusted so that when I rest my elbow on the center console, it is about level with my forearm (I have a 2" pad on my center console)

This is about the 4th rendition of shift knob and rod combo. This setup feels the best so far but I may throw the 140mm rod in at some point soon to test it out.

I actually reached out to Hybrid Racing directly about the shifter being open and they said should be no issues. They keep it open on all their race cars. It's. It's a dry lube they use so as long as you don't dump stuff right into the shifter it should be fine. I just can't cover it up, love the look way to much.

About 2 weeks ago, I uploaded the famous Jester base map to my car (proper review in his thread coming soon). The base map is amazing in itself, then the first revision got even better! Then the PRL intake went on for the spooly sounds. This weekend, I installed the TSP downpipe and Spoon rigid collars. I’m not sure I notice any real difference from the downpipe, but I sent Jester the datalog and hopefully he’ll be sending back +200 hp revision😂. Installation of the downpipe was easy. The bolt and nut closest to the engine resisted a bit, but once broken free and oiled, they came right off. Also, the 2 lower heat shield bolt holes need to be elongated to fit the TSP pipe, like so:

As for the rigid collars, I would say the difference is very subtle, but I do think impact harshness is less, especially in +R mode. I would guess that’s because there is now an aluminum “cushion” between the subframe and chassis. I think the car also feels a little more solid, but it wasn’t exactly a wet noodle before so🤷‍♂️. More time behind the wheel might reveal more.
The collars are very easy to install, but doing the job on jack stands kinda sucks when you’re age 44 going on 60 like me.

I took the car to an alignment shop this morning and the guy said it was dead on except for a minor toe correction up front! He told me -1.7 camber on both sides in the front. I’m finding that a little too good to be true, but it drives as it did before, and I trust this guy.

$500 sounds quite reasonable! I’m up in Massachusetts, so I will look around here for reputable powder coating shops when it comes time to replace my tires.
