What did you do to your FL5 today?

A "fire drill" of sorts. Shimmied and scooched it inbetween the bays while we worked on a customers F87 M2 Comp to avoid potential hail (which there was nothing but rain ?). That was a fun "oh shit" moment.

Made a faraday cage to store all of our vehicle key fobs. Simple yet very effective:

1. Fido glass 0.5L hermetic jar (gasket removed);
2. Two layers of heavy duty aluminum foil applied to the inside and outside; and
3. Reflect-A Gold tape applied to the inside and outside to keep the aluminum foil layers in place and more obviously to keep temps in check.

I know the feeling! I have a 40 minute commute and it’s mostly back roads. I love it. Unfortunately, my favorite part is in such bad shape now that I have to circumvent it.

I’ll do the same thing ?? I’ll go for a quick drive and end up miles down the coast in the wrong direction lol. These FL5’s are special cars no doubt.

Ordered OEM tires, $300 less than than standard ones off TireRack. I've got 12,500miles and 1 track day on them and the fronts are chunked on the outside edges and just about to hit the wear bars. I've got ~2mm left on the rears.

I ended up getting them through Norm Reeves Honda.

Well after my almost 30 day wait on back order my Spoon Springs arrived out of Japan. Once in Stock the dealer Two day aired them to me??
Now I just have to wait another month for the install since there backed up. No big deal I waited this long although pretty excited and can’t wait !
