did you do the install yourself? How difficult was it?Did probably the best mod I’ve done in a while to this car. Acuity full shifter upgrade paired with a Mugen shift knob.

The Acuity shifter is fantastic, isn’t it? I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen an aftermarket company put so much effort into a product. Aside from the outstanding quality of the shifter, they really went the extra mile for user friendliness. It’s a fairly straightforward installation, yet they put in the time to make a short novel of instructions.Did probably the best mod I’ve done in a while to this car. Man it’s amazing, It is easily top 3 mods that should be done to your 11th gen Civic/Integra.The Acuity shifter is fantastic, isn’t it? I installed it in my car. I don’t know how comfortable you are wrenching on your car, but it’s really quite simple. The most difficult thing I ran into was releasing the shift boot collar. The instructions say to basically just pull down with enough force, but that wasn’t happening for me. I ended up finding a YouTube video on how to get a pick in there to carefully release the retaining tabs. Aside from that and releasing one somewhat frustrating wire harness mount under the drive mode switch, everything else was a breeze.did you do the install yourself? How difficult was it?
Same with my car pushing down the shift boot didn’t do much. We got a plastic trim tool pressed it between the collar and shift knob then twisted and it popped downI installed it in my car. You can't just push it down. You squeeze it at certain points around the thing and then turn it counterclockwise while pulling it down. Mine came off extremely easy.Same with my car pushing down the shift boot didn’t do much. We got a plastic trim tool pressed it between the collar and shift knob then twisted and it popped down
I did that after and mine didn’t moveYou can't just push it down. You squeeze it at certain points around the thing and then turn it counterclockwise while pulling it down. Mine came off extremely easy.
If you know, you know. After six decades being into cars, I’ve learned that everybody has a different way to achieve the same result. And many of them are not the the most simple method. Even Hondas own instructions show the twist and pull method. You can't just push it down. You squeeze it at certain points around the thing and then turn it counterclockwise while pulling it down. It’s not that difficult, i did this on my free time at work, took me no longer than 35min because the twist lock on the shifter cables where a pain in the butt, especially in the middle of summer, lol.did you do the install yourself? How difficult was it?
@RODSCIVIC looks good! Debating whether or not to install the last set I have on my car. Finally got rid of my stained OEM mirrors. They came like that from the dealer after having the car sitting out. I did not notice until the morning after purchase, by then it was too late "how ddi you clean them". Anyways, got the Mugen's on. Found out the mirror caps come off without taking the mirror off. Thank you @Milosdad
