Nope nothing different for break-in I only mention it because I was braking heavily with my set in less than 100 miles so I had to re-bed them.Got mine via eBay sellers in Japan. Price vs expected performance for my use is why I got them. They'll probably see 1-2 track days at Homestead this winter/spring.
You mention proper bedding - Dixel's site has a "just drive easy for 3-600 miles" note, it does not have the typical recommendation seen on some additive pads like doing a set of hard braking repeatedly and cooling. If you saw something else from Dixcel let me know, otherwise I'll hold off on hard braking until 500mi or so. If needed, I can hard bed them in then.
Feel like stock. Kinda funny how visible they are due to their lighter colored backplate.
