Awesome! Thanks for the details. I think you gave me the confidence to pull the trigger!No extra drilling required! There are like 12 clip points under the bumper that are attached by plastic clips. They provide hardware that replaces 8 of those clips that hold the lip onto the bumper.
the fitment is pretty perfect, yes it is snug up against the bottom of the bumper and it feels very secure. The lip comes in a matte black color which looks fine but I opted to spray paint mine gloss black with a clear coat to try to match it better to the stock gloss black but I dunno if it was worth the effort. In hindsight I think I would have just left alone.
I did install it myself and it was very easy. Don’t even need to remove the bumper. Just need to be able to get under the car and The only tools you need are a 4mm Allen wrench and 10mm socket/wrench for the new hardware. Otherwise very straight forward!
