is there a gap in the middle between the bumper and splitter? could you take a closer pic?

there has to be, I think its just a flat piece. Really not very aero, probably creating more drag than actually generating down any downforce.

I mean most lips for sale currently are probably just aesthetic but if going to put aero on the car be nice if it was at least as aero (and maybe this is super dooper aero and I don't know what I am talking about lol - highly possible, I am a keyboard aero expert afficionado lol)

Same here...I just don't like the look of the gap, but I do like it doesn't make it lower.

Aero is always going to be for show or go. Sort of pick your poison type thing. The speeds Aero really will be noticeable most won't hit in less on track. So might as well look the part when you hard park lmfao

Couldn't some foam weatherstripping or something else be used to eliminate any gap? Also, @Tougefl5 is correct, most will never hit speeds that it would even make a difference. The nice thing about the Project Aero is it is very thin. It provides some protection, while adding a nice subtle look.

I think it's a loosing battle. Them lips are getting broken at some point. The Mugen is the best value and won't break the bank if broken.

Its the Varis lip paint matched. You can tell by the hard edge that transitions near the outside by the wheel arches,
