You can get a FK8LE spare kit if you're willing to sacrifice some trunk space. Or if your insurance covers a tow, flat bed it home and put the spare on there until you get to a shop. Would not recommend the fix a flat kit that comes with the FL5.

Yep - unless you go on a long road trip or often drives where there are no cell services, a spare won't be a deal breaker. Most of the time, a flat would be caused by a nail. In that case, just carry an extra air compressor or use the one that comes with the car and air it back up to get to your destination. You don't even need to use the goop as the nail usually plugs up the hole fairly well. The only time that the air compressor won't help you is with a blowout or gash on the sidewall. Yes, it did take me a whole 14 years with my previous car to get comfortable without a spare! Though, I was very hesitant to take it on long road trips, but I eventually did still do over 25k+ miles worth of road trips in that car without carrying a spare! Will definitely consider the FK8 spare kit should I decide to do any road trips in this car.

My guess as well. The FL5 wouldn't be my first choice as a weekend warrior duty.
