It’s the exactly the same as the other model years. It seems like 2027 will be when they refresh the Type R

My bad I should have been more specific. They told me that Honda changed course again recently and stopped production. They said they can’t get a 2026 and MAYBE we would see them at the end of the year.

Do they just make this up?

Sounds like they wanna sell them so they're lying. Honda hasn't officially gone back on anything yet

Most dealerships do actually make it up lol, maybe that dealership's allocations have been reduced but production has not just stopped. If the dealership staff didn't actively check IN.Honda then they probably have zero clue with what's going on

Interesting... I don't doubt it. Most of what they tried to tell me when i bought the car was bs. I was just curious because I didn't even ask about them lol I took my 2025 in for the 5k service and they ran up to me asking if id heard they stopped production on the 2026s. I couldn't figure out the angle.

Yeah, they totally made it up. I have a dealership by me getting a 2026 in.

Yes, and that first boat already landed a few weeks ago. The Motoring Obsession dashboard finally updated to show 2026 inventory some time last week. There are nearly 400 units in transit to dealers across the US already.

and yea I’ve read through all the 2026 related threads and have been following the drama lol. Not sure what the dealership was talking about.

I'm waiting for the 2027 FL5 to be made in the same factory as the de5

They would only sell the regular Integra, and not the Type S, right? I thought the whole reason why Honda can no longer sell the FL5 in Japan was because of emissions? How would the DE5 Type S pass Japan emission regulations if the FL5 Type R won't meet it?

No, they explicitly mentioned the de5.

Maybe if the car is imported they can get around the law?
