I've got a '22 Si. Installed PRL HVI, then did the Hondata CARB 240 a week later. Drove well for a few weeks, then started getting a bogging under heavy acceleration. Felt like I was hitting a rev limiter. Did some data logging and my air:fuel shot up to 29:1. Tuned the car back to stock, drove around with just the intake, and the problem was gone. Anybody have this issue?
I'm wondering if there's an underlying problem with the fuel system that is being highlighted by the tuning, or are these mods incompatible for some reason...and if I have to pick, do I keep the HVI and leave the car untuned, or do I get rid of the HVI and tune the car?
