I assume some of that is difference of 91 vs 93 octane plus environmental differences as well. We'll need someone from this forum to do a dyno of their fk8 and someone's fl5 on the same day, same machine, same fuel...haha

Anyone want to volunteer?
Based on your post the shop said that the average baseline is 295whp/305wtq so that tells us that the gains are real between the FK8 and FL5. In Puerto Rico the weather doesn't vary that much like in the states.

Dynos are good for tuning and seeing if any changes you make actually improve power. OTOH, they are not standardized well even when correcting for atmospheric conditions. The real test of the car is how fast it accelerates, not what a dyno says. Not sure how much more the FL5 weighs than an FK8 but it likely needs all of that torque/HP to keep up. Time will tell.

With the turbo motors Honda went with the "worst case" ratings. Ie, hottest, most humid day, etc. BMW does the same and their engines are WAY underrated.

FL5 does have slightly taller final drive so it is probably negligible. Maybe it has improved traction control too.
Slightly taller rear end ratio but also a slightly shorter tire height along with a lighter flywheel, additional HP, torque and boost may surprise a few people with respect to the FL5!

Based on my understanding the FL5 is 67 pounds heavier than the Touring Model FK8 and 117 pounds heavier than the FK8 Limited Edition.

Do sneakers count if I put wheels on them?

Hondata is going to put it on the Dyno tomorrow and plan to overlay their fk8 graph on top of the fl5 graph for comparison.

Will be the best comparison we can find for a while. I trust they'll try to keep testing parameters as close as possible.

Hondata Dyno is up. Added to first post as well. Looks like it might be dynopack and numbers are higher than Dynojet.

They do have a direct comparison of fk8 and confirmed increase of 25lb-ft torque and about 10hp.

Also interesting is the torque curve is showing more torque earlier in the revs, maybe related to turbo changes.

We need a comparison FK8 vs FL 5 0-60 and 1/4 mile
That's what we don't need. Too much magazine racing on forums. What's more important, among other items is: have the FK8 cooling issues been rectified, how much power is available under the curve vis-à-vis the FK8, how do track times compare (e.g., VIR, Sonoma, Road Atlanta, COTA), which major components (e.g., turbocharger on the FL5 is different) are different and what does it mean. These items are accretive to understanding how, or if, the FL5 performs better and where.
