Hi everybody, my 1st post here in CivicXI! Excited to have finally picked up a 2024 CW FL5 in SoCal for technically MSRP + $1655 in accessories. Hands off to Norm Reeves Cerritos for making the purchase happen with little work. The initial phone call had a negotiable 3k markup with wheel locks, trunk tray, illuminated door sills and clear protection film for the door edges and handles. Once I went in person to speak with them, the accessories, according to window sticker, added up $1784. I was able to negotiate it down to $1655, so MSRP $46344 + $1655 =$48000. I felt this was a good deal considering other dealerships in the area wanted 3k-5k markup with no accessories and I'm getting something for the additional $1655. I tried negotiating that I don't want the clear protection door films because $795 is ridiculous but they can't because it's already on the car, so they just discounted it. Maybe with more work, I could have negotiated to take some other accessories off but I'm exhausted having searched for a FL5 @ MSRP for months and even considered purchasing one out of state. Norm Reeves Cerritos has 6 more FL5's in CW and 3 in Black for those in SoCal who are interested in picking one up without the crazy markup. I'm glad to be part of the Honda community again, my 1st Honda being a 1993 Honda Prelude with a H22A. That car was a beast in its day. Sorry for the long post, proud owner of #22944.

Well done - a good deal for sure. I feel like many dealers are going to quote a high markup over the phone - but will be more apt to come down on the markup if you come in person ready to drive the car off the lot that day.

Nice pickup dude. I just ordered the car cover and was wondering if it is Waterproof or just water resistant. Hard to tell from the description when I ordered it.

It states water-resistant in the description of the cover. Once it arrived and i got my hands on it, It's definitely not waterproof, and very breathable fabric so I don't think I'd trust it as anything more than an indoor cover with occasional/small drips.

2024 SGP, picked up on Friday. Coming from a 2017 Civic Si (and CivicX forum). Scratched the modifying itch with the Si, and was happy to find a buyer who liked what I had done with that car, but plan to keep the CTR stock. Will be it running in SCCA street class, which will help to keep me honest in that regard. I do have the Karcepts bar from my old car that will go onto this one. And I’ll do street class legal wheels/tires once I decide what direction I want to go with that. So thrilled to have this car!
