I'm going with the Mugen wing.
I forgot about that one. It is a great option on the FK8, but the FL5 needs something less square IMO. The FL5 body is very round and there are a lot of sharp edges on the Mugen.

I agree here. I don't like wings that are straight across.

OEM Carbon fits the car very well. If I get another FL5, that’s most likely the route I’ll be going. The Adro is nice from certain angles, but looks a bit out of place from others. Maybe better if the risers were an inch or two lower.

It looks better in person. It's actually kind of difficult to photograph.

For me it's not about looks. It's about function as with all the parts that I buy. I don't have to guess if the aero research has been done with Mugen. I know that the fitment will be no problem and the quality will be top notch. It's already proven to increase downforce by a hefty margin with the group A/B body kit. Plus I will get a discount so it's a win win situation lol

I like how high the adro looks, its too agressive and big to be lower than that. Also if you going to go aftermarket it better be different.

I don't like the mugen wing personally either but its most likely a quality product.

The best looking wing is imo the HRC one, looks the right size, and its HRC so you know its proven. Wish they sold it

Agreed! The HRC Integra is incredible. They knocked it out of the park with that entire concept.

I had messaged them for more technical data, but never heard back. They do have a stock vs ADRO post on Instagram that is measured in Newton meters showing an increase in down force with their wing.

Merry Christmas btw

For what it's worth, I've emailed them multiple times and got responses back within hours every time. They even called me when I emailed a question about my order.

Sounds like they answer questions where they have answers to. Selective customer service.

Re-using the OEM seals isn't too bad but the fact that the hardware doesn't fit without drilling out is unacceptable for the price. I also like think need to work on the die-cut profile for the end caps which is surprising since they have the CAD for the wing they designed...

I'm thinking they drilled the holes prior to adding the clear coat or resin, and then didn't go back and clean them out after the fact. It was a nuisance.

Anyone who works closely with manufacturing will tell you that what you design in CAD doesn’t (won’t) directly translate to the manufactured parts…particularly when you’re talking about molded parts (in this case, hand made, molded/formed, parts) that may require several processes to arrive at the finished, assembled, product. That said, you don’t run into these issues with Mugen and Spoon because they’ve dialed-in their manufacturing processes BEFORE selling anything to customers (which of course is part of the reason their wares are top $). As said earlier, it appears that Adro is using early adopters for some of their final manufacturing dev…which should not be the case for a $2700 wing.

Oh I totally understand that. It just is kinda crazy they can't get the 2D profile of the die cut tape dialed in before production. That seems like the easiest part of this complicated geometry.

I also don't get why they can't just use thin sealing washers around the holes if the whole point is to prevent water getting into the wing.
