I wished I held off on the HEL oil cooler purchase. Not that it doesn’t help and I also don’t have the means to prove it does at the track. Fact being, it looks like there will be other options soon where the oil cooler won’t have to be blocking the radiator.

It had an absolutely awful drone at exactly 3k rpms. The worst drone I have ever experienced. The drone was evident in every gear, as soon as you approached 3k it was there. Then if you passed it, it would go away and be fine.

Aside from that, I despise slip fit exhausts. You'll never convince me it's not just a cost saving measure to maximize profits. The welding looked like garbage as well.

The frustrating part about all of this was that I reached out to AWE and they blew me off. They told me to send them better videos and that the exhaust has no drone so I must have installed it incorrectly. I sent them 2 videos taken from the same drive at 4am on an empty highway. One showing no drone below 3k rpms, the other sitting at 3k rpms and droning non-stop.

How come? Polls on here show that the majority think it’s the best sounding exhaust right now.
as i said in another thread, no they do not. that poll is a popularity contest, more accurately a “what exhaust do you have,” and since not everyone who voted has heard every single exhaust, that poll is erroneous. AWE was also one of the first to market. definitely doesnt mean best.

This is a very useful thread - love the honest impressions being expressed here. I'll add mine...

PRL adjustable shift knob and a spare ECM. The PRL shift knob wasn't as white as I wanted - it looks like wax, and it gave me pause to install it, which I eventually didn't and got a Spoon shift knob instead. The ECM was supposed to keep my stock ECM stock and allow me to tune on a separate ECM, but since I found out that ECMs keep track of key cycles & mileage that other systems on the vehicle do, it will cause issues if I ever need to lean on my warranty in the next two years since those parameters will no longer match between the ECM and the other systems.

Radium catch cans for me....and their coolant overflow. Basically everything Radium offers.
My Radium coolant overflow tank has not leaked since I applied generous amounts of Hondabond on each side of the paper seal. However, the tube that displays the coolant level is not anywhere near to close. It looks like coolant would get stuck there at times showing more than the level within the tank. It makes the appeal of this tank useless.

Not on the list, but my only regret is where I got my PPF installed. They did a horrible job. They made numerous efforts to redo it, but it still did not come out great. Fortunately, I filed a dispute and got a nice chunk of change back. At least the paint is protected.

No regrets regarding any of my other mods yet.

did you regret your wheels and suspension? if so, what did you get so i can avoid
Whilst I would share if I had some, mine is stock so far and I expect I'll keep it that way. I just thought it's a popular category of modifications and would have been an option..

The only things I've done to my car has been.
1. Dream automotive red interior mats. The black stock Type R branded mats were prison spec thing.

2. FX3D rock guards to prevent stones coming through the front wheel vents..

I'm happy with both but wouldn't call them modifications.
