Again the tips are not a concern for me. These latest videos and pics are proving it. However,
I wish the exhaust sounded louder and more raspier. It sounds very similar to double res delete that I am running now which is definitely not enough.

I think folks are getting a little greedy or even entitled when it comes to these exhausts. If you want louder and raspier, throw on a downpipe.

The "better" sounding exhausts for this platform sound like the single or dual resonator delete. Doubtful the "best exhaust" for this platform will ever be made. With the ~40 options available, if you don't have a winner by now you never will. There are far too many variables to consider.

In the unboxing video we show that we got the system with two midpipes (single and double resonated). The Catbacks will primarly come with single resonated midpipes, we used the double resonated one.

This reminds me of a time when Spoon released their lowering springs for the FL5, and everyone greatly disliked the reverse rake it gave the car 😂 supposedly they came out with new versions that fixed the sag in the rear wheels.

Hopefully they’ll update their exhaust in the future, like what Spoon did with their springs? Lol

Thank you for sharing @Unity Performance. Can you confirm that the catback version will be non-resonated? It should be louder than your version, right?

I would hate to buy the exhaust and chop the tips off and move them in but it looks like that would be easy enough to do. It's literally straight sections of pipe pushing them out that far.

In my opinion isn’t necessary to have 10ft of pipe on the circle part in the picture and not be adjustable it could be a little bit simpler I guess I don’t know how companies work on this.

This picture is an FK8 but they do this with a triple tip and if you want you can put it behind the bumper but it’s your choice, but sadly we live in age that it’s consume products and get excited for the next one, don’t complain just spend your money don’t care if you like it or not is 24 pages and probably 15 are talking after the exhaust came out and people saying the thing they don’t like but the company doesn’t care.

Exactly what I thought earlier, literally just welded on at the tips. There's nothing saying 27won can't just trim them or even add the option for adjustable tips.

At this point it would be impractical for them to change the product on a massive scale, but adding an option for shorter tips and charging for it would get me on board.

Some more pics of the Tips. I really didn't think that they would cause such a stir, I've never found them offensive.

Please don't forget that this is an early prototype from January..

Seems to me like ppl were looking for an excuse not to buy it. Nothing I've seen would suggest the tips should cause this much irritation

To be fair, at this price point everything should be nit-picked. If you're not nitpicking when making larger purchases you ain't doin it right. Its also not as if the tips aren't something that can't be remedied.

This is my point pay 2k for a muffler to have it like a bozozoku car almost and when people say something you are looking for excuses to not buying it.

but then look at more expensive cars and they look the way it supposed to look what it’s going to be the excuse now? That the exhaust is more expensive or that the car is more expensive?

my evo X with ETS exhaust and looks exactly like stock so what is the excuse to brush people off because they don’t like the way the exhaust looks? And it cost the same with the downpipe, test pipe and exhaust.

Except people can't buy it now unless they want the 27WON DP with it or already have one, which leads us back to the poor rollout.

For me, the 27WON exhaust was on my list to consider. I removed it for several reasons being (1) the additional weight added, (2) I don't like the welded on tips sticking out as far as they do, (3) I can't run the full turboback setup because of state emissions testing, and (4) the TSP downpipe that I am running has a 2.75" outlet where ideally I would prefer a 2.75" catback exhaust instead of a full 3".
