Steering wheel spring noise

My 2025 Civic Type R (no mods) is making this noise in the steering wheel. I haven't taken it to the dealership yet. It sounds like a spring opening and compressing. Does anyone know what it might be? My vehicle was not part of the recall.

Did you ever find out what was making that noise? I’m pretty sure mine started doing this a few days ago.

Interesting heard that they have corrected these issues. What's the ''build date'' on your door seal ?

Interesting. I have '26 Integra Type S with Sept '25 build date. It started to make this springs noise since a few weeks ago. It's mild enough that I only can hear it in a parking lot. But it constantly makes this noise when steering at low speed.
