Just found this thread, have you found the solution ? I've started experiencing that exact noise in the video. It seems to be coming from both rear wheels. I have 8500 miles, stock, just the occasional pulls but its my daily driver. Not going the dealer route based on your experience. I'm going to try putting new rear pads and see if it helps. I'll update here soon.

For my case at least, I have narrowed it down to excessive brake dust causing the squeal. Using brake cleaner and "de-squeak" from CRC fixes the problem for a few days, and then it comes back.

Also don't wash the car when the brakes are still hot. Made that mistake once, and brakes started squealing immediately. Don't sit on the brakes at a stoplight too, they get extremely hot in places with excessive heat, and sitting on them for longer periods of time may cause the uneven deposition of brake dust on the rotors. I guess it worked for me when I was in Maine, but in hot and dry Arizona, I have to wait longer to clean it and need to be more careful.

If its a high metal to metal type of screeching from your wheels/brake only goes away when you com to a full stop. Odds are there’s a rack/pebble stuck between your rotor and dust shield. I would start there first since it’s the easiest solution to try first without going to the dealer. Grab a long screwdriver and push the dust shield back top, right & bottom on all four wheels and see if any rocks or pebbles fall out then go for a short drive. If that doesn’t fix it it could be bad brake pads, or lastly rare but possible a bad wheel bearing. If you have stock tires, when they get up to temp they get really sticky and kick up all type of debris and get caught between the dust shield. This was always a thing for me owing the FK8 for 6 yrs. And now just happened to me today with the FL5 this morning, sure enough i wigged all the dust shields back a bit and one small rock fell out of the passenger rear shield.
