I had the oil in the car for about 5-6 months, only 6600km =4,101 miles. I live in a dense city so my mileage isn’t high but the type of driving is not oil friendly.

I also did 29x 20 min HPDE sessions on this oil. LogR reported high temps of 131 C =267.8 °F. I noted oil pressure at the end of my sessions was around 60 PSI. Regularly zinged it to redline too. Bone stock type r with SR11 pads and racing brake fluid.

Great results and good to hear what temps and oil pressure you were reaching.

What’s the total mileage on your engine?

29 HPDE sessions on the same oil?!?
Yes. Good old 0W20 M1 from the parts store with a Honda A02 oil filter. My background is engineering and I don’t think track use beats oil that much compared to street use where it never reaches operating temp. I regularly zing the car to redline too.

Oil analysis for science!

Excellent this data was gold! That mobile 1 EP is looking like it's not sheering much at all staying in grade for that change interval.

5-6 track days... you are a mad man... thank you for doing this in the name of science lol
Plus a lot of stop and go AND short trips in the city. Next year I will do the same.

The only improvement I would recommend is changing it after 2-3 track days 2000-3000 miles to reduce Iron and Aluminum ppm. Your Iron is about 3x higher than some of our data with shorter change intervals. With also factoring change intervals. I believe Iron is the main bearing wear indicator. Correct me if I’m wrong. Even though sheer stability is excellent, viscosity is excellent, it seems still contamination is the bigger problem as we saw with even the one other gentleman running Motul 0w-20 with longer changer intervals. Still over all excellent data and results for the 5-6 track days!
