Mine isn't a large dealer by any means, so hoping they get a few by next Spring.
As an experienced detailer, I can tell you it's not as hard as most make it out to be; you follow the same steps and mechanics as with any paint.
Oh and your detailer will love you - he'll be receiving your patronage more often! 😉
Have had a separate set of winter wheels & tires for my fk8 since I've had it - no issues in the snow (through mountain passes, etc.).
AWD is nice, and of course better for traction, but as long as you have proper winter tires on, you'll be good to go. 👍
That makes a lot of sense actually. Driving feel changes quite a lot when you get heavier, regardless of power. I'm okay with it myself, as long as it doesn't get too heavy. ^^
Mk8 power:weight feels okay for me.
