I tried my best haha it was to busy that day.You said “Trying to get a good shot of the rear bumper” while filming people’s butts.
Great content as always. The finished front clip looks a lot better than the early prototype photos (as one should expect). Not sure I totally like it, but it’s cool to see something different and I appreciate that it’s functional (based on the race car).
Once the crowd died down I got a good chance to look at it closely and i started appreciating how everything flows together and everything works. Only suggestion for the guys that want to do the spoon kit is do the full kit. You need the full kit to make it look right. The front bumper alone will make the car look too busy up front and bland on the rear.I appreciate the video, good stuff! Spoon absolutely nailed the aero on the FL5. It’s aggressive without trying too hard, everything feels cohesive and intentional. This is peak JDM philosophy: form following function, clean lines, zero gimmicks. This is exactly what you’d expect from Spoon.
Oh I know! I just thought the choice of words and timing of the situation was funny. Hahaha! It was some accidental comedy.I tried my best haha it was to busy that day.
Agree. There was a recent thread where a member was inquiring about the front bumper and I shared a similar perspective. You would need the entire kit, or a majority of it for it to look proper. This aero kit is show car or shop car stuff. Doubtful the average enthusiast would go to the lengths necessary to replicate this.Once the crowd died down I got a good chance to look at it closely and i started appreciating how everything flows together and everything works. Sorry I don'tThank you for the video! Any idea which size/offset were on the race car and white demo car?
I have a set of 18x10 +50 on order and wondering if maybe the street car has those on it. Hoping I can run 275 and still look clean.
