Annual Type R track meet

yes it was. I got it pulled up on my phone. Let me ask is anyone coming out not participating in the track event? Just to hang in the larger Type R crew? I've done track days in the past i don't think that would be an issue, but never been to VIR.

I did last year, but I was the only one. They heavily encouraged me to participate this year so I am giving it a go.

I think that some people will probably do that. VIR usually has a very small gate charge for that sort of thing.

but you should drive, if you have track experience VIR will be more of the same and you can always do Novice and get an instructor (or maybe if they have enough instructors they could possibly get you one for intermediate). There are 2 instructors with type Rs and I won't speak for them but I bet they would ride with you for a few laps.

18 cars signed up already, some integra type S and even 1 fk8 so far.

Gonna be a great day, if you are on the fence id sign up sooner than later specially if Novice or Intermediate because those groups have about 15 spots left per.

We have 20 drivers signed up for the event so far! If you are on the fence, now is the time to jump in! Novice spots have filled up quickly, but there is still some availability, and it would appear that we have 4 instructors that own Civic Type R's signed up already, which means that you have the chance at getting an instructor in the car with you that knows the car!

yellow is also getting pretty full. Normally you can wait on some of these events but seems like there will be a lot of Type Rs roaming around lol. Lets see if we can make it to 25

We have rented a few garages, I think 4 so far, if you rent one we can touch base and see if we can all get a row of garages so we not all over the place

Bumping this up as there are only 5 spots left for Novice and about 6 for intermediate.

If you want to come have a good time on track on these 2 groups I recommend signing sooner than later!
