Getting my i20n on Wednesday, cancelled order.
Managed to dodge a 14 month wait..

Still keeping my place for the CTR though.. Incase it comes in at a reasonable price and the size doesn't hold it back...

Has anyone else test driven anything else?
I test drove a manual Supra and really really liked it. At this point I'm 95% certain that this is what I'm going for especially since my Toyota dealer is effectively offering me 8.5% off MSRP. My Honda dealer is letting me test drive a used FK8 tomorrow so still looking forward to that.

But yeah, manual Supra. What a great sports car.

I've received info that the CTR will be a limited production car - has anyone else heard this?
Yes. My Honda dealer told me that the UK is going to recieve an allocation of 400 FL5s for the first year. He did tell me 300 two months ago so who really knows for sure?

Saw someone on another forums claiming he's had an order confirmed at just over £43,000. Spoken to my dealer today and no update, so not sure whats going on there, although that pricing sounds about right in my head...

Did you see that on pistonheads forum? Sounds about right but questionable that someone has had pricing confirmed and an order placed when no one else has...

Yep. Very questionable I agree, would love to know the story there.

No doubt, but it's the basis on which he's been led to believe he's placed an order that I'm curious about.

Hope we get an update soon, if £43k is right I’d be happy to order assuming I can get my hands on one!

Anyone concerned about the £520 VED if the car is £40k plus?

not too bothered for me bit annoying that a Honda would be in the ‘luxury’ car tax but I have to pay it with my current bmw

I’m more worried about interest rates rising as I’ll want to be using finance to buy the car

Agree, I'll also use finance for at least part of it (not PCP), but the higher VED is the final sting!

Great how they increase VED every year by inflation, but the £40k limit has been untouched ever since it brought in. That should be increasing same as the VED!

Very true.
I'm at least enjoying my i20n for now, the wait was killing me. The little thing is so competent though really don't think it's far behind my FK8...

Low £40ks is my guess.
20% uplift on fk8 due to parts cost increases (chips, etc)
Low volume approach as rep has already been established by fk8.
But, it is still a highly competitive segment, reviews would be negative if it is Merc pricing levels, impacting honda brand in UK.
For £44k I will go for it, for more I might wait for a second hand one in 12 months time.
Might go sit in a new civic at the weekend.
