So what fuses did everyone tap in to for ACC and battery?

This is how I tackled mine for the rears:

Can you help me figure out how to get the wire fished through the top of the headliner so that it comes out of hole for the rubber grommet? Is there something that helps guide it up and back through that hole?

I used a coat hanger that I cut up into a rod to fish the wires trough

Finally got around to this... I bought the cam and then I got hit before I could install it, so it took a while to get the car back.

Did anybody else have issues trying to tuck the rear camera wire into the trim at the top of the window? Sounds like at least one other did, mine is like glued to the window, the trim will not budge from 1/4 of the way along the top to the middle. Everything else worked out great, thanks @TR3BLE.


I used the dr970x box for a little extra security and heat management, since I park outside in the sun at work. I also installed the B130A battery, and I guess my commute isn't long enough to charge the battery so I'll have to play with the settings. Since I have a battery for parking mode I tapped into ACC by the footwell, which per the legend under the steering wheel was 45. The kit included the right taps and extra fuses, beware the order of fuses in the tap matters if the two don't match amps, and the orientation of the fuse tap is directional, unlike plain fuses (one side should be hot, other to ground). You do need a crimp tool for the tap lead to the cable.
