I feel like i've made so many new treads lately, so I apologies first off..
I have a few parts being wrapped and the center console is gone as well as the door panels.. And i have a PPF appointment in a week. I ewas hoping to get everything back by then, but it's not looking the best..
Will there be any issue or just a lot of CEL lights but all good?
Thanks guys :)

I think you are the Guinea Pig here, man. I’m looking at it and thinking : Without the switches and stuff, how will you even get it out of park and back in park? Maybe the bigger question: Do you trust the PPF guys to drive it like this into the shop?

No handbrake would be the main major issue here. Otherwise yes perfectly driveable.

Good call, didn't think about the hardbrake. Easy enough though.. Just looks a bit risky, I forgot what sensors are all unplugged at this point.

No handbrake is hardly an issue - just leave it in first or reverse when parked. You will mostly likely get CEL lights, but it's OK if you can drive it...Turn it on and try it!

I drove like this when I sent my stuff off to overland. Just plug in your ebrake, switch piece and set it on a small towel.

This looks perfect. How did you order this? Did you order the shift boot and console wrap as two separate items in your cart? How about the area that goes around the wireless charger?

I went to overland site and emailed them letting them know what I wanted. This is the complete setup they offer and I believe it was around $600. I just shipped everything to them (still put together). The wireless charger and all. I left my raceseng collar in the leather boot and they installed everything back and it shipped back to me. The suede goes around the upper top portion of the usb ports too and down the sides of the center console pieces back to armrest so it's all seamless. If you want to make it easy, just email them a picture of mine and say you want the same thing (if colors are accurate for you) and tell them you want the complete setup

Um...there is no 'getting it out of park' on a manual, right? Just being a smart-ass, I know what you meant. As for no e-brake, let alone the hand brake I wish these had, you can always leave it in reverse (best) or even first, and it should not roll anywhere.

Can't wait to see this when it is finished.

You would be amazed at what can be done with presumably essential components out.
Back in the '70's, I had a friend with a '66 VW Beetle. The master brake cylinder went out. She still drove it. Very well. She would just downshift, doing the best double clutching I have ever seen, until it was almost stopped, then use the hand brake. Remember - the main brakes were out. Impressive. But then again, she used to crew at Watkins Glen.

I’d say it’s normal in your situation. Remember you’re the Guinea Pig. I don’t know of anyone else here who has tried driving their FL5 with their interior taken apart.🤣

Drive modes still work if you keep the switch hooked up.
Yeah, I figured it would.. I put that switch back in, and it makes a sound and is lit up.. Doesn't change though

Might be related to hondata then if you are unlocked. Nothing changed on mine but I’m not unlocked.
