You have any issues closing your hood with the Apr cooling plates installed? I have mines installed and cut to fit the prl hvi, but have to push it down to close the hood.

Yes, I use downstar hardware and had to fasten them down tight enough which slightly digs into the finish of the cooling plate. It would still touch the hood in certain places so I used felt pads for furniture to protect both.

Sometimes the smallest things, make you the happiest. Kill all wipers rear wiper delete using the FK8 kit.

After:

Hi. Interested in a Long Term update on this Kill All Wipers delete kit. It seems to be the only one that is flush with the glass.
The one thing holding me back is that the exposed piece is made of Acrylic / PlexiGlas.
Hesitant to install this kit if it is going to fade and / or crack over time.

Other Rear Wiper delete kits I've seen are not flush to the glass, but are made of aluminum, and may have better longevity in our Texas weather.
