So... what was the code? I think I asked this twice already... mine was p0011 camshaft timing issue. Honda will wipe the code again anyway...

Hey guys... (sad face)

I'm HOPING this issue with the emission problem (CEL) is not affecting all of the early production models but I got my engine check light which states there is an emission problem along with a rev-matching system problem (I heard it comes with it. Rev matching issue disappears when I disable it).

I've done some research and it looks like FK8s are also having these issues and they were able to replace bad harnesses with newer ones to fix it.

Anyway, my car only has been 200 miles (everything stock). Scanned it last night at Autozone to get what code it is and It's code p0011 - 'Camshaft Position Timing Over Advanced or System Performance' (I believe it's a sensor problem?). This might be a different case than fk8s, so I'm planning to go to a dealership tomorrow morning.

Let's see what they say. I will keep it updated!

It’s a sensor problem and I had the same thing. It’s a quick fix and not a big deal.

My dealer replaced mine at 600km and I’m at 1200km now and no repeat issues.

Do you mind telling us what sensor it was? And you also had p0011? Thanks!

I’ll check my paper work from the dealership. The mechanic showed it to me. It screws in the passanger side of the engine block.

just give me a minute to go and get it out of the car.

Glad I could help.

Why didn’t you take it to the dealership immediately though?
I already did when it happened at the first time, and tech told me it's just a glitch and they just wiped the code. So this time I'm taking it to a different dealership. 😁

Update on P0011:

I took my car to the dealership today and they have ordered a new Valve Assembly (part number: 15830-RPY-G01).

The technician found no issue running the car so I took it home. My only concern is that this part has been back-ordered and it might take months to get to the dealership... XD

Also, my advisor did say this part has been discontinued and there might be an updated version of this valve, and that's why it might take longer than expected.

Dayummmm sorry to hear that you're part of this mess. What's your code? P0011?
Not sure, they just all went off with emissions and rev match first. Driving under 30 mph and 3k rpm.

Soonest I can get the car in is this coming Wednesday.
