Hello, was looking into getting a new catback exhaust but more specifically those who are also running a aftermarket downpipe/front pipe together. I know they change the tone of the exhaust significantly and it's difficult finding sound clips of exhaust with the two also. It's mostly catback exhaust with stock down/front pipe. Currently have RV6 catted downpipe and front pipe.

Get a paper towel tube. Put a balloon on the end. Use a safety pin to put a small hole in the balloon. Commence to blow it up.

The sound you will hear is pretty much as close as you can get. Lol

The best advice I can give you is to stick with an aftermarket option that is resonated. Our best seller is the Milltek series of "catbacks" and we have found that customers with aftermarket downpipes have preferred the resonated option and that customers with the factory downpipe prefer the non-resonated option.

Milltek does sell that section alone (resonated or non resonated mid pipe) for anyone that buys one and decides they need to make a change for whatever reason.

You may find some of these helpful: https://www.youtube.com/@TwoStepPerformance/search?query=milltek

Popular exhaust for us it the Remark since it has the valves on it too. Remark triple tip is another good option.

At the same time, a lot of the guys that we sell exhausts to that run downpipes and front pipes are tracking their cars and get something light and simple like a Tomei.

I've looked at the Tomei. I'm pretty interested but seen mixed reviews on how loud and raspy it would be with the downpipe. But it is pretty lightweight and simple
