Not watching that video for views. Stock FL5 is far from a dud.....
The stock FL5 is great out of the box but it's far from what it is capable of and it's one of the best and most fun cars to mod on the market. Just be open minded and give the video a chance. If you bought your FL5 just to leave is stock by all means perfectly find but I think you are truly missing out.

What are the four mods that provide for an INSANE transformation?

far from what it's capable of?? In what instance?? racetrack lap times with $2000 sets of tires and $10000 worth of track mods?? Maybe 600 HP so you can go 0 to Jail faster whilst destroying cv joints as quickly as brake pads , tires and gearboxes and clutches. Most people "mod" to spend money and make "theirs'" different than "mine". The FL5, in standard trim, is what it is..a Very capable , Road Going, package and a Great Platform to set as a track machine. But..far from what it is capable of ? Me thinks that opinion is in the eyes of the beholder..as is every planned "mod".

I have no idea what all that meant.

There are a lot of options available to improve the FL5 in objective ways- handling, braking, acceleration, aero, etc. Honda themselves sell a few parts.

0 to jail is a good one, I'll use that next time

The OP mods in the video are purely visual, and in my opinion totally unnecessary, but I do believe that there are "must have" and "nice to have" mods which do improve on the platform.

I do not have any "visual" mods, with the exception of the mud flaps which are ugly...

My must have mods:

The DSC suspension controller is amazing. much better than even the ITR DE5 module

The Hybrid Racing short throw shifter and bushings improves on an already excellent shifter (though some prefer the Acuity shifter)

Acuity throttle pedal spacer repositioned the pedal to enable me to heal-and-toe

Rear motor mount nearly eliminated wheel hop

I removed the fake engine noise injector and the telemetry spy devices

I adjusted the clutch to eliminate most of the free play at the top, and added a stopper at the bottom

Ravelco Anti-theft system, OBD port lock, several AirTags

My "nice to have" mod was the COBB intake and custom tune. I am really enjoying the modest added power and the more linear response.

Safety related mods:

Suma side view wide angle mirrors with anti-glare for nighttime driving

Extra loud Hella horns

Front and rear dash cams (saved me thousands with my previous car when the other driver attempted to lie)

Brake light flasher unit (just purchased, yet to be installed)

Other mods which are useful:

Spacers on the rain guard (under the hood vent opening), and WOT cooling plate help with cooling

Aluminum coolant expansion tank (plastic one will eventually crack) and the larger capacity of the PRL tank helps with cooling

Mud flaps and the side vent mesh guard

The wheels are probably the only mods in this video i would care to spend the money on and even that is a stretch. I get that videos need a title and all that to grab interest, however, the FL5 is not the car for that type of attention, out the box they have presence and haul enough ass to put itself above regular traffic. Every mod on these cars imo is for novelty

I agree he lost me there.
