This rotor just will not budge! Do I need to drill more than just the head of the screw?

Probably rusted onto the hub. Use the two threaded holes and bolts to free it.

No, don't drill anymore, just the head of the screw needs to be drilled out. Did you happen to use a impact screwdriver to prevent the screw head from stripping? The rotor is rusted onto the hub. Try spraying some WD40 or PB blaster in the screw holes and center ring to try and break up the rust. The 2 screw holes are there to put two screws in and push the rotors off the hub.

I realized I was being dumb, for some reason had a brain malfunction and forgot the rotor doesn’t have threads

Hammering the rotor endlessly did nothing but dent it. I had a spare bolt nearby and threaded it into the rotor hub with my impact, it popped the rotor right off. Literally 2 seconds. Gah

Yes I tried a impact screwdriver too! Honda rotor screws are not rust belt friendly

you should be able to thread bolts into here and it may help push the hat off the hub

Now clean the hub and coat it with anti-seize before putting it back together. I plan to pull mine and put anti-seize on them this week. My Type R is new.

Rear rotor hub somewhat cleaned, stud drilled flush, plus some anti seize on the inner ring

As an FYI, Autozone sells packages of brake rotor retention screws. I had to drill a couple out after 10 years in New England, and yes I first used an impact driver to no avail. Won't ever be a problem for me again in AZ.

Just looking at your brakes makes we wonder where they've been,
Why are they so rusty? Are your roads heavily salted?
I live in NH, USA, which uses a lot of salt. Even so, mine don't look like that.
