I have my CCV vented to atmosphere, so it's a bit different than yours, but Im also running a racing engine with more blow by and looser tolerances, so I am very likely to catch some oil! I had eyeballed the verus unit, but ultimately went with this option since it seemed simpler!Amazing as always! I have a question—I’m running the Verus Engineering AOS with the coolant add-on in the back. Compared to yours, the Verus was a pain to install because of the hardware and space constraints. One hose routes to the intake manifold, and the other goes to the front of the valve cover. I’m not sure how the Radium setup works.
I went with Verus because my previous setup didn’t catch anything, but this one is a bit of a hassle to check. I have to remove the base along with the two fuel hoses I guess is the one with the two 10mm bolts need to get removed to inspect the AOS. I daily my car, so I don’t pay too much attention, but you track yours as God intended!
What kind of difference do you think your new setup will have versus the Verus? You probably don’t know for sure, but I figure you have more experience with this stuff than I do.
Thanks again for all the amazing videos you put out!

PRL never mentioned it in their instructions. I'm sure you could, but it's a lot tighter than it looks, and to have something underneath to collect the oil would be pretty difficult. Thanks Ben, great video as always!
Are you sure you can’t just reach in there and unscrew the bottom without removing the top and the hoses? It’s a little tricky but that’s what I do with the Mishimoto.
That’s what she said, but also I meant unscrewing the collection chamber and then pulling that out, not draining from the bottom plug.PRL never mentioned it in their instructions. I'll give it a shot on my first contaminant dump and report back! That’s what she said, but also I meant unscrewing the collection chamber and then pulling that out, not draining from the bottom plug.
It’s kind of a juggle to remove the bottom of the Mishimoto, then swap grips to get hand and arm out of the way to pull it out from under hoses.
Any issues with the ecu throwing codes by venting the ccv side to atmosphere? I know for the pcv side it's an issue but I'm considering venting my ccv side as well if it works fine.I have my CCV vented to atmosphere, so it's a bit different than yours, but Im also running a racing engine with more blow by and looser tolerances, so I am very likely to catch some oil! I'm headed to the track this weekend. I think I'm going to check it on Sunday and see how much oil is in it after a proper flogging all day on Saturday.Great video (per usual), did you check to see how full it is yet? I'm curious to see your findings and how often you would need to empty
Nice, Im excited to see the verdict. Im installing evs ball joints and doing my alignment this weekend, then its track time!I'm headed to the track this weekend. I think I'm going to check it on Sunday and see how much oil is in it after a proper flogging all day on Saturday.
