For anyone wanting a spare tire for their FL5 This has to be the best option. I just finished installing this kit and I'm totally satisfied with the results! Price from my local Honda dealer was $375. Beats trying to make other stuff work, If youre on the fence about doing this dont be.
Nice! Glad it worked out.

I kept the spare from my FK8 along with the tools and everything so I would just need the hatch floor cover. Is it possible to just buy that one part?

Noob here. I joined today to say that I ordered the FK8 spare kit that the OP listed the part number for in post #1 as well as a Continental spare donut. Ordered Wednesday at my Honda dealer and it was there yesterday (Saturday). I made a deal when ordering to have the tire to be mounted when I picked it all up.
Put it all in this morning without any modifications whatsoever. Didn’t even have to cut the foam pieces from the underside of the new (FK8) cargo floor. Used the wheel center foam toolbox too. I wrapped the scissor jack in a towel and stored under the floor.
The only janky part is the plastic, accessory TypeR tray looks a bit goofy. I’m okay with it. All in $329

Looks like you can. 84521-TGK-N62ZA
Holy crap I missed this... I am ordering this now :D. Thank you!

So does it help keep the floor lower if you trim the foam blocks off if I just plan on having the tire by itself under the floor??

Thats the wrong part number... I installed this yesterday and am using it in the interim until the correct part is ordered/arrives. it doesnt have the side pieces and just sits on top of the spare.. there is no foam. I guess just see the pic thats shown online and it will explain it.

It looks like it is actually:

84521-TGH-E52ZA

Can anyone confirm this ?? I am about to order this one as the other just looks so janky installed.. I already have everything else from my FK8 - I just didnt keep the trunk floor from it when I traded it in.

I went and ordered 84521-TGH-E52ZA (from hondaacuraonline) and gave them my old FK8's VIN since they emailed asking for it. Then the parts person there (really nice guy) called me and asked if it had the spare tire already and confirmed that part is for the cover if you have a spare tire in the FK8.

Should be G2G but ill update when it arrives next week.

Could you please confirm the correct part for the FK8 floor?

In summary, we'll need the following parts?

Parts list:
06421-TGH-A33ZA -- FK8 spare tire kit (does not include tire).
42751-CTL-039 -- Continental tire that fits on the wheel in the kit above.
84521-TGH-E52ZA (or 84521-TGK-N62ZA) -- FK8 floor cover.

After some more research, looks like the 06421-TGH-A33ZA -- FK8 spare tire kit includes everything including the floor cover, but no tire. So, the original post of the parts list was correct - it wasn't made clear whether the floor cover was included or not.

Yeah the kit comes with everything minus the tire. I had kept my spare tire from my FK8 and what I needed was a little different.

Thanks for the confirmation

Were you able to use styrofoam tool holder that sits in the middle of the wheel? The OP indicated that the load floor wouldn't sit flush if this styrofoam is used?

So glad I had stumbled upon this page as I was looking for a spare tire solution as soon as I'd picked up the car. Was very surprised that the load floor on the FK8 fit the FL5 so perfectly!

I just ordered the kit from my local dealer. I had to shop around because the prices would be higher than others... Tire and the kit.

So I removed the smaller middle foam blocks on the floor and didnt re-use the Styrofoam center piece because I have other storage in the trunk for the tools. I should have at least checked to see if it'd work but I didnt, sorry.
