Nicely done!

I've installed the PRL shifter base bushings, took my time and it wasn't too bad.

I also have the PRL shifter cable bushings but have not installed. Dreading the install due to everything you have to remove.

Going to wait until the PRL Stage 1 Intake arrives and install both then.
Thanks! The install on the cable bushings is not bad. Had a harder time with the base bushings. But you do have to remove quite a bit of stuff. But its not terrible, so if you make the most out of installing the new intake and everything it should be cake walk.

I didn't buy the detent spring, tho. I was planning on sticking with the OEM one but what do you think?

Will let you know! I’m going to install them in the next hour. I bought them since I was already going to be there. But we I don’t really think they are mandatory. Just want to improve the shifting as much as possible without going too crazy

Ok so installed them! Side to side movement on the shifter has a lot more resistance and it feels really tight. Forward and back is marginally improved almost not noticeable. @Fl5ap

Well done! You need a YouTube channel documenting your installs.

Do you prefer the stiffness with the upgraded detent spring?

Once I do the additional cable bushings I think I'm gonna go for the clutch delay valve mod. After that, I think it will be perfect. My objective was to enhance the feel of to be very direct between shifts. Well see!

I really should😂 but I feel I sound silly in videos. I think the delay valve delete is a great mod and will be also taking it out. With the detent springs the shifter feels solid. In my opinion its worth it, its only $20 bucks and if you will be in the area it might be worth trying out. Worst case you don’t like it and it did not cost much and its super easy to install if you already have the battery and intake box out.

Solid point, might as well at that price.

If it helps convince you, I could care less about how you sound or look 😂. I just need How To walk thrus so I can learn and do my own work!

If you're gonna be changing the cable bushings. Go ahead and grab a set of detent springs and install them while you're down there. For a $20 mod, it makes the shifter feel even more better.

It really does tighten that side to side play.
