8mph increase and zero knock holy fart cans wow!

I also have a spot with Jester I am so pumped!!!
Could it be faster and make more power? Absolutely but that is not what the goal was.

Boxes to check:
More power than the Hondata base map
Safe and reliable for track.

Also had a chance to test out the map today. Keep in mind it’s street tuned. I need to go to the dyno to properly calibrate everything.

So a good friend wanted to see what the Type R could do against his 400whp BMW 135i. Put 2 cars on him by 4th gear.

I seriously can’t wait to find out what my tune is like on the track. Just driving on the streets and freeway, it’s already different from stock. In sport engine mode, it is more responsive and the speed just creeps up on you. On Friday when I drove the car, entering the freeway, I was just easing in on the gas, before I knew it, I was at 75mph. The recommended speed limit is 55mph. I got curious later on and went like 75% WOT in 3rd because of an open road, it pulls pretty hard. I hope I don’t wind up chasing horsepower. But then again I don’t even see how anyone can use more than 400hp on the street.

It does, and even me having over 400whp traction is pretty good 3rd gear and above I still have to do boost by gear on my tune for first and second gear.

Still available for e-tunes, just not in person?

@Jester04 is making the track map that him and I developed available to those who want it. We just needed the data from this weekend to get it dialed in, and to fact check the actual vs. expected data. This map was tested on both 93 and 98 octane fuel.

How does it compare to your prior base map? (i.e. more conservative or more aggressive?)

Also, similar mods needed (DP / IC, etc.), or is it still a good starting point?

Tune can be ran on a completely stock car, also tune is very similar to my original basemap since I put a lot of hours into it to make sure it was perfect. Timing wise it’s more conservative than my street tunes by like 3 degrees. But I can adjust anything depending on the fuel quality.
