I ordered the PRL coolant expansion tank. It also has a higher coolant capacity.

I know people on here aren't fans of it but I have had the Radium coolant tank for a little 10k miles after my OEM tank failed. No issues so far.

There weren't a lot of options when I got the Radium. I will likely replace it with one from another manufacturer in the future.

So whats the best coolant tank to get? Its been a few years now and remember the radium tank being a big problem. Do all of these have the same coolant capacity or do they expand the tank?

I heard Wunderland is the one to keep an eye out for

Im getting the WOT Radiator too, so I'm not sure

Mishimoto seems problem-free & price competitive but if want to be "bougie" Origin, MDR & Innovating titanium. While Wunderladen looks quality and coolant level window is huge it is literally blocked by the valve cover making it useless :dunno: also the overflow coolant hose has no fastener so I placed it against nearest post temporarily :(. Had I known these issues I would not have dropped $500 on it.

Does anyone know if this was a problem on the FK8? I don't remember it being an issue back when I was active on CivicX with my old car, and I'm wondering if the FK8 tank would fit. I feel like a metal tank is going to heat soak when I'm idling between autoX sessions.

I’ve read that it is the same tank and Honda has been using it for several years. Sounds like you lucked out with your FK8’s tank…but it is one of those things that has a high likelihood of eventually failing. I’ve read of some people keeping at least 1 spare on hand.

My OEM FK8 tank seems to still be holding, just shy of 80k miles. Did swap it to Wunderladen tank in case the oem tank does decide to break down... and because bling haha

I also had the stock plastic tank on a '21 FK8 for four years with no problem.
My FL5 is only 2 months old, so nothing to report on it.

Drop a pic, love how each one can be a custom color!
