Looks like the good times just stopped, with a 50% increase at dealers

I went with the Continental on the OE size and can’t complain. But I’m not a track guy anyway, so I can live with the difference. They found the loophole and now are trying to patch it 😂.

Well, the Kumho Ecsta sport S seems to be good value for money per Tire Rack.

I have been running the Kumho Ecsta sport s tires on my car since June. I’m very happy with them. Compared to the PS4S, they have way more grip (at least during acceleration) and they’re much quieter and less harsh on rough surfaces. With the OEM tires and a tune, accelerating hard in first and second gear was spin city. I can hardly break the Kumhos loose, even now with more power from a mild ethanol tune.
The only drawback is slightly less turn in response compared to the Michelins.
