I'm am looking to purchase and install dedicated lift pads to protect my pinch welds and make using a QuickJack easier. So far, the only two contenders I've found are ZL1 and Versus. For those that have gone down this path, which is more popular / better? I'm leaning towards ZL1 but, have already experience bad (I mean non existent) customer support on a prior order and wonder if I should sprinkle my money elsewhere?

I like the ZL1 better for the following reasons: looks like it gives you a bigger area to hit while jacking, I like the "lift point" marking on the side, and they are a little cheaper.

Thank you @jpindustrie and @HKSpeed !

I already have something similar but was thinking the dedicated jack pads might make it even easier...plus a good spot to jack a corner at the track (when I finally get there), without aligning too much stuff.

Have you used them on our FL5 yet, by chance? I was doing some light reading of old posts and I found one where someone seemed to complain that it didn't fit well on our cars.
Not yet. The normal blocks work just fine though. I will also try them on my GR Corolla to see how they work.

When you get a chance to try, would you mind reporting back? Much appreciated!

I tried to buy the ZL1 pads, but just ended up filing a credit card dispute with them. I ordered over 4 weeks ago and at the time their website showed that the parts were in-stock. I still haven't recieved them and can't get ZL1 to respond to me via phone or email.

Disappointing to hear...I had the exact similar experience recently. I originally ordered the mag pads earlier this month. After not receiving, I went to email them this weekend and their website was no longer existent and emails bounced back. On Monday, it looked like their website was back up so, I assumed it was a server error, etc. I called during their wacky customer support hours and wound up leaving a VM. I also sent an email the same day. On Tuesday, I received an email stating that my order was cancelled and refunded per my request. I then replied and asked why my order was cancelled, as I was only asking for status....crickets....no response.

I guess the long story short...it seems....BUYER BEWARE WITH ZL1

Based on your experience, I'm not going to the well twice and will definitely avoid ZL1...even though I think that is what I really want.

Im not sure if you have already tried to lift the car with quick jacks but you absolutely dont need welding lift pads. The black lifting pads that come with the quick jacks are completely fine. Ive been using them since I got my Type R for almost 3 years now and I never had any troubles lifting the car or felf like I needed welded lifting pads.

The FL5 works extremely well with the Quick Jack pads, on something like the S550 Mustang you want lifting welds like this because the Quick Jack doesn't clear the sides and it will rub against the plastic rocker panels

Awesome to hear! Honestly, my 5000TLX QuickJacks are inbound so, I haven't even set-up and tried using.
